Stagecoach Coffee Roastery and Espresso Bar was founded in 1993 in the historic village of Cooperstown, New York. It is located at 31 Pioneer Street, in a building originally built in 1791 as the Blue Anchor Tavern. Cooperstown is one of the most visited villages in the United States for its historic offering: The National Baseball Hall of Fame, Hyde Hall, The Fenimore Art Museum and The Farmers Museum. Cooperstown is also known for its beautiful rolling hills and wonderful views of Lake Otsego. For many locals and visitors, Stagecoach Coffee has become a hub of everyday life in this quaint village in upstate New York.

In 1994, Stagecoach Coffee opened a second location in downtown Albany at, the corner of State and Pearl street, the center of downtown Albany. Located at 90 State Street, a 1930’s art-deco office building, Stagecoach Coffee offers the same fresh-roasted coffee concept for Albany’s professional set. Stroll into 90 State Street and view local artwork, or connect to the web through our free wireless internet service.
A third location was also opened in 1999 at 54 James Street, downtown Albany. Located across the park from old Union Station, the park in front of this store is an ideal location for sipping your beverage amidst the flowering tulips in the springtime.

From the beginning, our family created Stagecoach Coffee to introduce something new to both Cooperstown and the Capital Region; fresh roasted coffee directly out of our own Diedrich roaster. But it wasn’t just a new coffee tasting experience that our customers became accustomed to, they came to enjoy a special and altogether comfortable place to spend a few moments each day with their friends, on both sides of the counter.
